Unit #6 - Oceania and Antarctica
Resource Library

Regional Importance and Introduction:  Lush tropical islands seem to be paradise for many people.  Going to the "land down under" to see kangaroos and other such creatures sounds like the ideal vacation for other people.  Researching penguins and traveling to lands that few humans have seen sparks the interests of more than just scientists.  All these things are found in the region of the world known as Oceania and Antarctica.  We study Oceania and Antarctica with this last unit of the school year.
